- Compliance and Reporting:
- Oversee provision of data for reports for external and internal stakeholders that will be submitted by Compliance or Contracts/Grants team members.
- Data Governance:
- Develop and implement HMIS data management policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Establish HMIS data governance frameworks and ensure adherence across the organization.
- Monitor and audit data quality in HMIS and Voyager, making improvements as necessary.
- Data Collection:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Manage the collection, processing, and storage of HMIS data, ensuring it is organized and accessible.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of Compliance Data Analysts
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Set team goals, monitor performance, and ensure projects are completed on time.
- Software and Tools:
- Participate in selecting and implementing appropriate software tools for data management, including databases, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, and data visualization software.
- Stay updated on the latest data management technologies and trends, making recommendations for upgrades and new implementations.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare data reports for external and internal stakeholders, as required.
- Proposal and Report Writing:
- Support Grants and Contracts team during surges
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of database structure, design, and implementation.
- Experience with compliance standards.
- Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., SQL, ETL tools, data warehousing solutions).
- Experience managing a team of data professionals.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Full-time position, hybrid working environment.
- May require occasional travel for training, conferences, or collaboration with remote teams.

Job Summary:
The Data and Compliance Manager will oversee the provision of timely and accurate data to ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements. The Data and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the use of Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data systems, ensuring that all information is stored, managed, and accessed efficiently and securely. The Data and Compliance Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
