      What You Will Achieve

      • You will plan and conduct public relations and goodwill programs to improve Pfizer's relations with the public, industry, stockholders and employees. Managing internal and external communication material for Pfizer, you will work on material ranging from internal company publications to external industry articles and press releases.

      • As a Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements and providing areas of improvement for products, processes , or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

      How You Will Achieve It

      The Manager, Digital Communications will manage strategic digital communication efforts to shape the conversation around cutting edge science and drive innovative employee engagement via external channels. They will lead on creative, strategy, and project management for external digital communications and high-level content partnerships, including supporting executive communications. This individual will also be responsible for creative, strategy, and project management for external digital communications from multiple therapeutic areas and business units, including broader Pfizer initiatives around our specialty care division.

      ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Develop creative and compelling content for audiences across all of Pfizer’s corporate digital and social platforms (Pfizer.com, Breakthroughs.com, Conversation Leaders)

      • Serve as a dedicated subject matter expert for the business area they represent

      • Post paid and organic content to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms

      • Manage paid placements of content and advertising for reputation communications

      • ·Help develop digital communications strategies for the businesses

      • ·Manage logistics for Corporate Affairs marketing campaigns

      • ·Support employee engagement on social media through group workshops and 1:1 trainings

      • ·Work closely with analytics to leverage data to drive content strategy

      • Oversee content deployment and scheduling using tools like Sprinklr and Optimizely

      • Help manage a network of external writers, producers and graphic artists that contribute to Pfizer’s library of digital assets including, photos, video and infographics

      • ·Oversee social listening and monitoring and produce reports summarizing the digital environment

      The position reports to the Senior Director, Digital Communications, Corporate Affairs and is based at the Company headquarters in New York City.

      Qualifications

      Must-Have:

      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

      • 5+ years of relevant experience .

      • Experience in developing and managing a broad range of digital communications projects within an organization - video, audio, social media included.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

      • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing insight-driven, strategic and measurable communications programs.

      • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in marketing media.

      • Ability to lead and/or work with diverse cross functional teams.

      • Good organizational, negotiation skills and time management capability .

      Nice-to-Have:

      • Master's degree or equivalent.

      • Relevant pharmaceutical experience .

      • Project management skills/experience .

      • Strong public speaking and media relations skills .

      • Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset.

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
