      Organization Overview:

      Performance Marketing India team works closely with the marketing team in the US to support a wide range of marketing activities, including campaign operations, creative services, project tracking, compliance, and vendor management. The team is involved in every step of the process, from customer acquisition to providing marketing offers and regular updates to keep customers engaged with Synchrony.

      Role Summary/Purpose:

      Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Marketing Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within our Growth Organization, our Document and Content Management Team oversees the centralized assembly of disclosures, collateral creation, and the storing of digital assets.

      The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian is an exceptionally detail-oriented and organized thinker and responsible for the curation, organization, documentation, preservation, and management of all digital assets within the (DAM) platform.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Manage ingestion, metadata tagging and cataloging of assets across multiple business platforms

      • Audit assets, metadata, and DAM workflows – including flagging of assets for correction

      • Support internal and external users uploads, replace and/or archive digital assets

      • Maintain accurate procedures and records for the system and role

      • Develop and maintain user education and training documentation

      • Collaborate with DAM Leader to report on any key performance indicators

      • Participate in governance of the DAM, including supporting activities to optimize search/filtering functionality

      • Act as a DAM ambassador, including onboarding of new users

      • Monitor content quality and troubleshoot workflows

      • Develop standard reports and summarize trends for asset usage, adoption, and delivery

      • Continuously ensure the DAM delivers value to the Synchrony enterprise

      Qualifications/Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Experience in computer science, Information Services, Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of Experience

      • 2+ years professional DAM experience in high-volume environment, with strong knowledge of DAM systems

      • 2+ years of experience with metadata, taxonomy, cataloging, asset conversion, asset migration and bulk uploading of digital assets

      Desired Characteristics:

      • Highly organized, extremely detail oriented, results focused and innovative thinker

      • Ability to apply a methodically consistent approach to repetitive tasks

      • Excellent understanding of Digital asset Management including metadata management, tagging, taxonomy and governance

      • Experience with Adobe creative suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

      • Knowledge with different file formats used in the creative process of digital assets (print, digital, video and audio)

      • Strong skills and experience working in Excel

      • Effective at meeting deadlines, adjusting priorities, and working on multiple projects simultaneously

      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Prior work experience supporting Marketing functions in the Financial Services Industry

      • Experience training other users on a DAM platform

      • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple high-profile project deliverables

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology

      • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

      • Strong problem solving, analysis and reporting skills

      Eligibility Criteria:

      Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Experience in computer science, Information Services, Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of Experience

      Work Timings:

      This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply
