- Manage College Study Abroad direct-to-student communication across all digital and campus channels
- Improve the efficiency of current marketing channels through increased conversion at the top of the funnel
- Coordinate cross-marketing messaging and tactics across web, text, email, and via new channel marketing (AI, mobile app)
- Manage annual calendar of key direct-to-student marketing activities online and in-person, including on-campus fairs and events
- Develop successful strategies to grow the number of users using, engaging, and submitting applications via the CIEE College Study Abroad mobile app
- Test and measure the effectiveness of different messages and tactics, making improvements in real-time to maximize conversion across channels
- Create standard reporting on direct-to-student marketing to share with senior sales and marketing leaders
- Collaborate with the Web and Digital team to monitor the effectiveness of College Study Abroad digital campaigns, and manage lead follow-up and conversion
- Coordinate closely with Institutional Relations on supporting key campus growth via direct-to-student marketing
- The person is accountable for growing direct-to-student lead funnels and maximizing conversion across marketing channels
- Implementing new technologies, processes, and reporting to support increased conversion and student engagement
- Collaborating with several teams across CIEE to stay aligned with the overall College Study Abroad strategy and brand/
- Represent CIEE with integrity, accuracy, and the spirit of its mission.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer marketing or e-commerce
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A track record of managing effective marketing strategies to acquire new customers and maximize funnel conversion
- Experience with marketing technology and analytics tools
- Experience with CRM database management, Salesforce preferred
- Strong data management and executive reporting skills required
- Experience with mobile app deployment preferred
- Customer-centric, with the ability to understand customer needs and preferences
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and confidence that translates to leadership among peers and staff
- Proven ability to work effectively under minimal supervision; management and supervisory experience a plus
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

The Manager Direct Marketing is responsible for executing CIEE’s B2C college study abroad marketing strategy, focused on increasing the number of students who study abroad on CIEE programs through direct student outreach and conversion. The Manager will be responsible for coordinating with others on the Marketing, IT, Web, and Digital teams, as well as the Institutional Relations team, to implement key marketing and e-commerce activities across a variety of existing and emerging student-facing channels.
