      Summary

      As Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager, you'll ensure compliance with safety regulations, creating a safe environment. As a leader, you will develop and implement safety policies and procedures, and train employees accordingly.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Leading, developing, and implementing Environmental Health and Safety policies, programs, and procedures.

      • Managing safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

      • Creating and maintaining safe work systems, integrating health and safety into management and process leadership.

      • Allocating resources, while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve Environmental Health and Safety objectives.

      • Ensuring continuous improvement of employee safety and health through the creation of an Integrated Management System.

      • Coordination and communication with Regulatory Bodies, Local/Federal Government bodies in all aspects of EH&S required for the Bedford, MA site.


      General Tasks

      • Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

      • Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

      Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

      • Subject matter expertise in Environmental Health & Safety, with a track record of achieving operational goals.

      • Working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) with specific experience leading ISO compliance to 14001, 45001 and integration of these standards into ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 management systems.

      • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and industry standards like ISO, EHS, OSHA, and EPA.

      • Prioritize safety and possess exceptional hazard identification skills, as well as be proficient in risk evaluation.

      • Have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

      • Proven ability to oversee teams, complex processes, or complex programs.

      Travel Requirements

      • Less than 10%, for training and special projects
