      Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Manager, Events and Donor Engagement Position.

      The Manager, Events and Donor Engagement role involves the strategic coordination, planning, and execution of national events and donor engagement initiatives in close partnership with the Senior Director of Campaign and Events. The successful candidate will be tasked with planning events, selecting venues and vendors, managing budgets, and producing comprehensive after-action reports and analyses. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in tracking and organizing event schedules, coordinating partner campaign activations, and managing internal deadlines for the Marketing Team.

      Desired candidates will have:

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • 2+ years in event management, planning, and marketing
      • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Suite, Digital Platforms
      • Valid driver’s license, Acceptable MVR (annual)
      • Criminal baground check Detail Oriented
      • Strategic thinker with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills

      Primary Job Duties Include:

      • Supports the Senior Director, Campaign and Events in the creation and implementation of event strategies for partnerships and activations across corporate, foundation, and individual giving sectors
      • Plays a key role in organizing and executing Military Child of the Year and other special events, including those for the Comprehensive Campaign, alongside creating meaningful engagement opportunities for donors and employees
      • Responsible for selecting and overseeing event vendors, developing event schedules and checklists, and establishing guidelines and budgets to ensure compliance with Operation Homefront's quality standards
      • Collaborates effectively with the Marketing Team to coordinate, monitor, and manage deadlines and activities related to campaigns
      • Other duties as assigned

      Other Details:

      General office and sedentary. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events as needed. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
