The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

      This is an individual contributor role that will guide the financial planning of our Personal Lines (PL) Property + Specialty Segment and act as a key liaison with senior leadership, as well as the US Retail Markets (USRM) Results & Insights team, other Planning teams, and functional Finance leaders enabling alignment on executing short- and long-term strategies and ensuring linkage to the financial outlook of USRM PL Property + Specialty lines.

      This role is a ranged posting; offered role will be dependent on candidate qualifications.

      The ideal candidate for this role:

      Responsibilities:

      • Serve as a leader in the USRM Personal Lines financial forecasting process, guiding stakeholders and leadership in development of an analytically driven and financially sound plan
      • Lead complex discussions across key Property + Specialty Senior Leaders and USRM Finance colleagues, making recommendations and influencing decision making for all components of the financial and operational plans, including: Topline, Losses, Expenses, and Reinsurance
      • Partner with FP&A Functional leader to incorporate key trends and expectations into the current year forecast. Support Property + Specialty leader by articulating drivers of results, and proactively identify ways to close gaps to financial targets and drive profitable growth
      • Establish and foster strong connections with USRM CFO, USRM FP&A colleagues, and key functional customers and stakeholders to effectively collaborate and build a deep understanding of the entirety of he Personal Lines Property + Specialty business & financial plans
      • Provide thought-leadership for continuously improving our planning process

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required. CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
      • Minimum of 7 years of finance experience.
      • Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results.
      • Facilitates cross-functional collaboration and communicates effectively to a wide variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
      • Comfortable leading meetings and making presentations to increasingly large audiences. Advanced understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods.
