  Role - Manager Healthcare Consulting

  Reporting to - Lead Healthcare Consulting

  Location - Mumbai

  Role Responsibilities:

  
  The goal of Roche Healthcare Consulting is to elevate diagnostics and health systems by uncovering opportunities typically overlooked--to help Laboratories to move to a new perspective with an action plan. We go beyond surface-level improvements to conduct deeper-level analyses of hidden processes, to optimize, generate greater value, and uncover hidden potential of the laboratory in the health systems. We offer expertise in optimizing system workflows and leveraging knowledge from all customers, industry best practices, established standards and return on investment activities to find your personalized solution.
  We will achieve this by employing proven methodologies to decrypt the complexity of diagnostics while we maintain a future-focus to create a forward plan of actions with precise recommendations and targeted advice.   Consultancy:

  
  Healthcare Consultancy will be a commercial service offered by Roche to both potential and existing customers. Healthcare consultants providing planning & consultative services to. Consultants will be required to:

  • Work with laboratory teams using frontline Workflow enhancement tools like Lean, Six Sigma and Rapid improvements events to optimize operational performance, maximize resource utilization and enhance value to defined stakeholders.

  • Enable laboratories to become or remain competitive in the business of delivering healthcare. Collaborating and helping customers with Strategic Visioning exercises and discover ways of how to evolve their business.

  • Drive implementation based on a Strategic plan which includes project and change management approaches.

  • Mentor and motivate regional teams of business managers across India towards a consultative selling Mindset.

  Who You Are

  You have strong communication skills which can simplify the complex and explain to others. You will have a successful and considerable proven track record in leading people, preferably acquired in the healthcare industry. To be considered for this role, you will need a Master's Degree educated or equivalent in engineering, scientific or related field and to evidence your success in service delivery; a proven track record of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to the highest decision making level leading to successful business outcomes. A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to prioritize and deliver, you can drive change and adoption of new concepts.Resilient, tenacious, you strive under pressure, working effectively as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. With strong analytical skills, you are at ease working with technical and scientific information.

  As the Product Manager at Roche Diagnostics India & NM, you will be expected to demonstrate We@RD dimensions and help evolve the functions culture beliefs as part of the India journey.

  Experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, project management and implementation, preferably in clinical laboratory and/or healthcare setup.

  • Good understanding of Lab Infrastructure & utility needs is advantageous.

  • A design thinking mindset is advantageous.

  • Basic knowledge of Healthcare IT is critical

  • End-to-end understanding of

  • Hospital ecosystems and operations, and/or

  • clinical laboratory business operations across all laboratory medicine disciplines
