      About the role:
      The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle Department. The Revenue Cycle Manager will contribute building the authorizations team and managing eligibility and insurance verification related to our MCT line of business. You will directly supervise the Authorizations team and the MCT team. Monitors employee and team performance on daily/weekly/monthly production and financial goals. Ensure quality and compliant processes are utilized throughout revenue cycle accounts receivable processes.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Supervise, coach, mentor, develop and evaluate assigned support staff
      • Create workflow improvement strategies, create written processes, procedures, job aids and train staff in implementing a cross functional revenue cycle team
      • Compile and prepare various status reports to analyze trends and execute improvement initiatives
      • Monitor data integrity and timely updates for the Billing system and make recommendations
      • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of RCM metrics reporting, to include Authorizations, Denials, etc.
      • Work with team leads or supervisors to develop and implement strategies for obtaining authorizations and to improve conversion rates on our MCT line of business
      • Work with the HEMA team on how to effectively manage your team through the payer policy requirements
      • Knowledge of and ability to work with national and regional payer requirements to apply a compliant authorization process
      • Ensure Federal and State billing regulations are applied and followed through preauthorization and eligibility process
      • Trend progress by payer on results of efforts and monitor for changes
      • Lead execution of practical strategies to secure optimal reimbursement from payers for BSC services
      • Collaborate with other functional areas to drive business alignment and continuous improvement
      • Takes initiative to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize them, communicate them to the appropriate levels and sees them through to completion
      • Develops creative solutions individually and collaboratively draws ideas from cross functional teams.

      Required qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Finance, Leadership or Business Management
      • 10+ years’ experience in Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management (preferably medical device industry)
      • 5+ years’ experience in supervision, management or other mid to high level team management position

      Preferred qualifications:

      • Higher education MBA preferred
      • Project management, change management, process improvement
      • Extensive healthcare billing system experience (Xifin System experience preferred)
      • Experience in working under healthcare compliance and other regulatory requirements
      • Specific medical device experience IDTF or Lab RCM Experience
      • Ability to plan appropriately for risks and responds positively to unforeseen problems
