We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to lead our team of 6 highly skilled IAM Engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency in our IAM infrastructure and processes.
Key job responsibilities
1- Team Leadership and Development:
-Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6 IAM Engineers with diverse skillsets
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training or hiring strategies to address them
2- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement long-term IAM strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership, customers, and partner teams to define IAM roadmaps
- Oversee the design, implementation, and support of identity solutions for complex business problems
- Drive architectural improvements to enhance system resiliency and security
3 - Project Management:
- Prioritize and manage multiple IAM projects simultaneously
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments and external partners
4- Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and review for complex IAM solutions
- Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and industry best practices
- Ensure the team's adherence to security standards and compliance requirements
5 - Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify and implement operational process improvements to enhance team efficiency
- Drive automation initiatives using AWS tools, PowerShell scripting, and other relevant technologies
- Establish and maintain continuous monitoring and alerting systems for critical processes
6 - Risk Management:
- Oversee risk and vulnerability assessments for IAM infrastructure
- Collaborate with security teams to improve identification, remediation, and reporting of vulnerabilities
- Ensure the team's readiness for on-call support and incident response
- Bachelor's degree- CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
