What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and coordinate the SPD team in day to day operations, including training and policy implementation
- Interview, hire, and coach employees to meet company objectives and customer requirements
- Assist Sterile Processing Technicians with instrument processing as needed
- Communicate and foster relationships with hospital staff and STERIS leadership
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by following proper processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of leadership experience in SPD or related field OR High School diploma with 8+ years of SPD experience and 5 years of leadership role in SPD or related field
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, instrument tracking systems, and employee management systems
- Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM required
- Additional certification for SPD Management/Leadership preferred
- Extensive medical instrument knowledge and knowledge of sterilization and processing equipment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or in a related healthcare field
