Manager, Information Technology - Release Management

- Provide leadership, vision, management goals, priorities, metrics, measures, recognition, and discipline for the IT Release Management group
- Oversee, manage, coordinate, and prioritize the daily activities of the Release Management team and work closely with the Application Development, Data Architecture, Project Management teams, EQE, Infrastructure teams, Change Management, DevOps and third-party vendor teams to ensure quality releases
- Establish, plan, build, and maintain enterprise release calendar for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors
- Enable partnerships with the business and IT Directors in each domain to align processes and tools
- Drive culture of continuous improvement to improve Release Management efficiencies and standards
- Promote the adoption of Release Management through the entire software delivery lifecycle
- Manage and appropriately escalate release delivery impediments, risks, issues, changes, and action items, and works with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis
- Responsible for maintaining gate to ensure the timeliness of release
- Partner with DevOps to increase adoption of automated release deployment process
- Support Audit teams to demonstrate we have appropriate segregation of duty and audit controls
- Publish metrics on release management effectiveness and quality releases to production
- Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to IT management and stakeholders
- Drive the continuous improvement of release process and service delivery best practices, processes, and tools
- Represent Release Management leadership in project and/or business meeting and engagements
- Responsible for managing projects, organizing, and directing people and projects
- Provide technical guidance, training, and work direction to direct reports
- Perform any other job duties as requested
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience as an IT professional is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of release management experience is required
- Three (3) years of management experience is required
- Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Release Management capabilities and best practice
- Project planning skills and abilities
- Process and/or workflow planning and design skills
- Knowledge of Application Development tools
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft technologies (infrastructure or application development)
- Strong knowledge of best practices relative to application development or infrastructure standards
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to manage personal and team time effectively
- Effective organization and prioritization
- Effective management and leadership
- Knowledge of the healthcare and managed care philosophy and culture
- Excellent planning, negotiating, and influencing skillset
- SAFe certification is preferred
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$92,300.00 - $161,600.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
