      Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager- Manufacturing & Distribution Accounting

      Primary Tasks:

      • Manage the accounting function and lead the accounting team
        • Communicate clearly and succinctly objectives and goals to direct reports ensuring individual understanding of how their work contributes to the overall business success.
        • Identify appropriate and meaningful department objectives and KPIs. Continually review to ensure alliance with the business objectives.
        • Monitor performance of direct reports with a focus on continual improvement. Working with HR employ coaching strategies to build the individual skills and to manage all personnel issues and motivate and engage employees
        • Oversee completion of regular employee review and feedback in a timely and appropriate manner to promote clear expectations and employee engagement and development
        • Identify training needs and deliver training, coaching and mentoring to assist each member of the team to develop their skills, efficiently thus performance
        • Lead by example by promoting organizational programs and initiatives
      • Be an advocate for change, continually challenging the status quo while looking for areas to simplify how both the team and wider business execute
      • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required in areas of expertise, supporting internal departments and attending customer meetings as required.
      • Ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the business.
      • Act as a point of escalation within Accounting for issue/query resolution.
      • Manage all aspects of AP/AR functions, including 1099s, etc.
      • Manage all aspects related to Certify expense system
      • Oversee Core Collection Process
      • Manage Payroll processing
      • Drive process improvements that will increase efficiencies and accuracy of payables and receivables.

      Relevant Work Experience:

      • 3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ at a leadership level
      • Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments
      • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy

      Education and/or Training:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
      • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
      • Demonstrable experience in managing teams to high performance standard
