- Additional Skills Required: Managerial experience in marketing and healthcare. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Proven expertise with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong familiarity with how to use project management software such as WorkFront. Competency in leveraging data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Datorama, and PowerBI to tell compelling data-driven success stories. Strong interpersonal skills to help navigate & execute projects in a highly matrixed organization. Self-motivated, innovative, shows initiative, creative in overcoming obstacles, can-do spirit, results-focused—experience working with cross-functional teams including product, marketing and communications, and IT Teams. Firm grasp of the role paid, earn, and owned media play in an omnichannel marketing approach. Knowledge of how to drive consumers down the sales funnel using customer relationship management (CRM) technology and technical expertise to work with product managers to implement new offerings in online and offline spaces. Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with various levels and business functions within the company.

Overview
The Manager of Marketing II will report to the Senior Director or Director of Marketing and manage a team of direct reports ranging from Marketing Specialists and Senior Marketing Specialists to Senior Digital Marketing Specialists or Marketing Managers. The Senior Manager of Marketing will have a strong marketing and healthcare background with a proven track record of leading strategy, developing campaigns, building brands, and formulating patient acquisition programs. Comparable to a Senior Product Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Manager must have solid project management skills with experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans, sales enablement, and marketing programs for new products and service offering enhancements. Communication skills are a must as they will collaborate and receive assignments from senior leadership ranging from Directors to Senior Vice Presidents.
The key responsibilities for the Senior Marketing Manager include leveraging their senior-level subject matter expertise to manage their marketing activation team, which is accountable for leading marketing initiatives from briefing through execution with periodic performance optimization and analysis of impact. They should possess the ability to strategically evaluate unique creative opportunities and provide insightful feedback across different content and media vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Effectively collaborate and manage matrixed internal and external stakeholder expectations regarding marketing initiatives with senior leaders ranging from Directors to Senior Vice Presidents.
· Leverage senior-level subject matter expertise to coach and develop positions supervised at the Specialist, Senior Specialist, Senior Digital Specialist, and Manager level.
· Develop, execute, and track strategic marketing plans tied to key initiatives and business priorities for institute, product, business development, or service promotion.
· Quantitatively interpret metrics and key performance indicators to tell a meaningful and impactful story using data in an understandable format to individuals at all levels.
· Accountable for developing program marketing budgets, managing to budget, and ensuring that strategic cost alignment and accepted ROI are continuously within stakeholder roadmaps, including system initiatives with budgets in surplus of 1 million.
· Firmly understand the ways of working within their department and the day-to-day operational processes required for direct reports to complete work, focusing on driving continuous process improvement.
· Assists with defining A/B market and creative testing and collaborating with Voice of the Consumer team on research
· Maintain a high degree of knowledge and strategic insight on current and new marketing industry trends and best practices.
· Demonstrate leadership knowledge and skills through exemplifying honesty, integrity, fairness, and trust; conducting work with passion; creating a climate in which people want to do their best; delegating appropriately; and flexing decision-making style based on the situation.
