      Job Description

      As a Manager, Marketplace Compliance Operations – Financial Services you oversee end-to-end processes and tools supporting Marketplace operations. It involves leading workstreams with stakeholders, resolving conflicts, designing, documenting, and implementing solutions. The position requires strong cross-functional influence and the ability to manage operational changes, risks, and results, blending strategic oversight with detailed operational engagement. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports at this time.

      Responsibilities include implementing and managing Marketplace functions for the Financial Services team, ensuring successful integration with IT and stakeholders, and maintaining effective communication with executives, vendors, and partners. The role also manages relationships with key third-party providers, including Payoneer for KYC/CDD processes and Merchant Payout services, and Bank of America for payment processing and compliance oversight.

      This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location.       What you’ll do
      Operations / Process Development
      • Maintain and support current tools and processes.
      • Develop and document operational processes and maintain a knowledge repository.
      • Analyze oversight results, synthesize insights, prioritize focus areas, and connect information to business goals.
      • Address issues and enhancements, ensuring resolution and clear communication.
      • Coordinate quarterly business reviews with partners, including preparation, agenda creation, meeting minutes, and follow-ups.
      • Prepare updates and presentations to engage leadership and enterprise audiences.
      • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance adjustments.
      Project Management
      • Document business requirements and align them with objectives.
      • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring integration of technology, processes, sustainability, and people.
      • Escalate issues and risks, providing contingency plans as needed.
      • Communicate project status effectively and coordinate with third-party vendors.
      Basic qualifications
      • 4+ years of experience in an AML compliance role supporting systems and processes
      • 4+ years of experience as a project manager
      • Intermediate level of expertise (or higher) with AML regulations and standards, including the USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN and OFAC
      Preferred qualifications
      • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management or related field
      • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification or equivalent
      • Retail marketplace experience
      • Payment acceptance and network rule experience
      • Experience working with regulators and regulatory audits
