Responsibilities Ascension is actively seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to fill the role of Manager of Service Line and Hospital Marketing for our hospitals. In this key position, you will lead marketing efforts for specific service lines (Pediatrics, Women's Health, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics) and overall hospital promotion to drive awareness, patient volume, and positive brand perception. Position Summary: Ascension is actively seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to fill the role of Manager of Service Line and Hospital Marketing for our hospitals. In this key position, you will lead marketing efforts for specific service lines (Pediatrics, Women's Health, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics) and overall hospital promotion to drive awareness, patient volume, and positive brand perception. Key Responsibilities: Service Line Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for assigned service lines, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. Lead the planning and execution of targeted campaigns to promote service line specialties, enhance patient engagement, and drive volume. Hospital Promotion: Oversee the overall marketing and promotion of the hospital, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hospital marketing strategies with broader organizational initiatives. Collaboration with Service Line Leaders: Work closely with service line leaders, physicians, and clinical teams to understand key strengths, offerings, and market differentiators for each service line. Align marketing efforts with service line goals and collaborate on promotional activities. Multichannel Marketing: Implement multichannel marketing approaches to reach target audiences through various platforms, including digital, traditional media, and community outreach. Utilize a mix of channels such as social media, events, email marketing, and advertising to promote service lines and the hospital. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to understand market trends, patient preferences, and competitive landscapes. Derive actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve service line and hospital promotion. Community Engagement: Lead community engagement initiatives to build positive relationships with local communities and enhance the hospital's presence. Collaborate with community organizations and partners to support health and wellness initiatives. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing service line and hospital marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages team members to excel in their roles. Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for service lines and hospital promotion, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with finance teams to track expenses and provide regular budget updates. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. Additional Preferences Professional Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on healthcare or hospital marketing. Experience in marketing specific service lines (Pediatrics, Women's Health, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics) is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with CRM tools and patient engagement platforms. Leadership skills to guide and inspire a service line and hospital marketing team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
