What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and evaluation of project work
- Conduct interviews with faculty, staff, donors, and patients for sensitive information
- Develop and communicate strategic messages with executive leadership
- Generate communication strategies, promotional plans, and materials
- Write news/feature articles for publication and collaborate with others in Public Affairs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or allied field
- Seven (7) years of experience in public relations, communications, writing/editing, or related field
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
- Must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas
