      The expected salary range for this position is $99,800.00 - $124,750.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential.       Overview

As a Creative Manager in the US Marketing team at Compassion, your role involves leading a multi-functional creative team to produce written and visual content with specific outcomes that contribut e to the success of our marketing efforts . Your team is tasked with delivering creative solutions that not only make an impact in specific marketing channels but also weave our overarching story throughout the entire customer experience , reinforcing the Compassion brand in the minds of our audience.

      As a passionate practitioner and experienced team manager, you consistently follow industry best practices tailored to your specific marketing portfolio and the skills of your team. Your role is vital in ensuring that both the team and their work are well-informed by market trends, driven by insights, and attuned to audience preferences. You actively ideate, develop, and implement creative strategies that align with the goals of each channe l. Your leadership approach is detail-oriented and comprehensive , delivering sophisticated solutions and complex assets to our strategic partners.

      What will you do?

      • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

      • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

      • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors .

      • Be a strategic voice for creative management and work development in your team’s assigned portfolio of work.

      • Use creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to drive engagement and conversion.

      • Use your creative background to ideate, develop and direct, leading a team of writers and designers to create audience-centric, innovative, and relevant content that puts our supporters at the center of the experience.

      • Tell the story of Compassion through engaging visual storytelling, utilizing imagery, video, motion and messaging.

      • Ensure content in your channel s is aligned under our content strategy, brand direction and voice.

      • Drive the production process for creative development, ensur ing timelines and expectations are met.

      • Deeply understand existing and emerging technologies, being well versed in their capabilities and requirements.

      • Incorporate learnings from behavioral and analytical data into content development.

      • Track and manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

      • Provide functional and developmental leadership to assigned staff.

      What do you bring?

      • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent in content strategy, design, copy, video, advertising or digital content development

      • 7+ years of creative experience

      • Demonstrated ability to strategically lead and develop complex creative to achieve goals .

      • Excellent portfolio showcasing brand, storytelling, conceptual and executional skills .

      • Possess a passion for and understanding of organizational and brand storytelling .

      • Experience managing a team of creatives, providing creative direction, professional development and coaching.

      • Ability to manage and advocate for the needs of your team and your work both vertically and laterally across a complex organization.

      • Capable of nurturi ng cross-functional relationships and requirements .

      • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex strategies and large bodies of work to completion.

      • Working understanding of content performance measurement .
