    • Serve as a contact for interested educators, agencies, and IHE programs looking to learn more about continuing education opportunities and career pathways and link them to necessary supports.
    • Knowledge of and ability to navigate and provide guidance around OCDEL quality indicators of early childhood education preparation.
    • Gather data points and trends on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis that provide valuable information to IHE programs focused on meeting community needs and evaluating curriculum and programs; communicate regularly with team members.
    • Coordinate efforts between community agencies, professional membership organizations, employers, the Pennsylvania Key, and Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) as needed.
    • Coordinate efforts to support statewide expansion of the Professional Development Organizations (PDO) and the Higher Education Consortium.
    • Manage fiscal contracts related to tuition assistance programs.
    • Coordinate efforts to align national competencies and IHE’s ECE degree programs, including certification programs.
    • Attend meetings at the state and regional levels to support the statewide implementation of PDO and IHE engagement.
    • Assist OCDEL/Pennsylvania Key staff in the oversight of PDO deliverables and assist in reporting on successes and challenges.
    • Provide ongoing support to the Career Pathway Supervisor in oversight of deliverables and team leadership.
    • Provide ongoing support to the Director Credential (DC) and School Age Program Credential (SAPC) programs.
    • Develop and deliver high-level presentations to public and community agencies about financial assistance models and supports.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • POSITION GOAL:
      Serve as the direct contact for Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) partners supporting the work of the Pennsylvania Key and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), with a focus on enhancing early childhood educator development. Coordinate efforts and communication between funded IHEs, the Pennsylvania Key, and stakeholders who utilize early childhood education (ECE) career pathways. Collaborate with the Career Pathways team to build sustainable data systems. Collect, manage, and review data related to the work of Professional Development Organizations (PDOs), grant-awarded IHEs, and approved Career Pathway schools. Provide fiscal oversight for the TEACH contract and Rising STARS Tuition Assistance, in collaboration with the Fiscal Director. Oversee the resources available on the Pennsylvania Key website for IHEs and manage general communication around higher education initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring that early childhood education career pathways are of high quality, accessible, and sufficiently available to the ECE workforce.

      PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

      TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
      Exempt, Full Time, Twelve months/year. Salary to be established by the Intermediate Unit Board of Directors per the Compensation Plan for PA Key, Classification – Program Manager.
