What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the delivery of business-critical features for high-value, customer-facing applications
- Foster a culture of innovation, growth, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Promote collaboration between scientists and engineers on various projects
- Manage change effectively and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Coach and mentor engineering leads to enhance team performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent; Master's or PhD preferred
- Minimum of 7 years' software development experience with a proven track record in managing software development teams in an agile environment
- Experience in technical development within a cross-functional setting, particularly involving ML applications
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills
- Expertise in several technical areas, including robust Python development, MLOps, and cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure)
