- Responsible for managing all front of house operations of the security office, including lost or replacement badges, new badges, and access rights and restrictions.
- Insures adherence, or can explain acceptable variances to, all area budgets on a monthly basis. Oversees preparation of annual budgets for all areas.
- Assures accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required reports, such as volume indicators, revenues and progress reports.
- Assures the accurate completion and timely submission of department payroll and LUR records for all areas.
- Lead and manage daily security operations across the main campus and affiliated locations, ensuring the safety and protection of patients, staff, visitors, and assets.
- Partner with the Director to develop and implement enterprise-wide security policies, programs, and protocols that align with the medical center’s strategic goals and regulatory obligations.
- Represent the Director in executive meetings and act as a key advisor to executive leadership on matters involving public safety, threat assessments, and enterprise security risk.
- Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the above three (3) years non-specialized experience requirement. Master’s degree may be substituted for five (5) years specialized work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in law enforcement/security management, with at least 8 years in executive/command leadership, preference healthcare or a regulated environment.
