Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Conviction checks in the following areas:

- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty.

The Role
Based in the Hobart CBD, this is an exciting new role leading a dynamic team of Allied Health Professionals and other staff whose work supports the strategic direction of Allied Health Services and Hospitals South but is not aligned to specific Allied Health disciplines. The Office of the Director of Allied Health (OOTDAH) team includes project workers, Allied Health Leads within clinical streams, data, workforce education and research positions, and others according to the needs of the service and organisation.
As manager, you will provide effective management of the human, physical and financial resources of the OOTDAH, be an active member of the broader Allied Health leadership team and represent the work of the OOTDAH as required. You will work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director of Allied Health as well as Discipline Leads to meet the strategic objectives of the organisation and will live our values of compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part-time day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing April 2024.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary
$139,492 - $141,354 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
