      LPL’s Paraplanning Solutions team is seeking candidates passionate about this space who are also interested in the idea of growing a new service and managing a high functioning team.

      This individual will be part of a growing team responsible for supporting Financial Advisors and Planners with their financial planning needs so that they can provide superior personal financial advice to their clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about financial planning, eager to manage a team of financial planners and interested in shaping a new service.

      Paraplanning Services is a part of LPL’s Business and Wealth Solutions (BWS), a growing professional services company within LPL Financial that helps advisors and institutions execute on their biggest opportunities.       Job Overview:

      LPL’s Paraplanning Services is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Manager to manage a team of Financial Planners. Planners support advisors in all aspects of financial plan design and analysis. This individual will manage a team and support the growth of the business unit.

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead a team of Plan Managers and Plan Associates. This includes but is not limited to hosting weekly or bi-weekly 1-on-1s, monitoring team performance, managing day-to-day activities and RTO management

      • Communicate to, coach, and lead each member of your team to achieve their individual performance goals

      • Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and high team engagement that values learning, a commitment to quality and sense of purpose in work

      • Provide ongoing support, coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities to address team members needs in order to engage them and help them be more effective and successful

      • Create and foster partnerships across the Paraplanning team and business partners to support and meet shared objectives

      • Conduct semi-annual and annual performance reviews

      • Hold bonus and merit compensation conversations with team members

      • Foster strong advisor-Paraplanning Services relationships by participating in advisor touch points around escalations, high utilization outreach, completed PAYG plans, and more

      • Manage team capacity, SLA, and plan production timelines

      • Work with AVP in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures

      • Host Team meetings/Pod meetings/PA meetings/PM meetings to train and communicate new processes/directives

      • Facilitate advisor transitions/repairing as necessary

      • Conduct case study interviews for new candidates

      • Participate in team projects and pilots at times managing the project to identify problems, ideate solutions, gather feedback, oversee rollout, and refine processes

      Requirements:

      • Must have CFP® or equivalent experience

      • 5+ years of financial services experience with 3+ years of experience in the development and presentation of comprehensive financial plans

      • Strong understanding of personal financial planning including, but not limited to retirement, personal wealth management, risk management, and education planning

      • Software/Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

      • Demonstrate expertise with eMoney, MoneyGuide or RightCapital

      • Ability to effectively communicate, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail is a must

      • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once

      • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

      Pay Range:

      $82,800.00 - $137,900.00


      Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
