Salary Range: $41.9200 - $69.1600 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Security Operations officer, the Manager of Parking Services provides management and strategic oversight for all parking, parking enforcement, valet, and shuttle services across the Hoag enterprise. The position may oversee other related functions, as assigned.
Responsible for continuous evaluation and optimization of these services for efficiency, quality service, financial stability, and operational excellence.
Works in partnership with Human Resources to recruit and train new personnel. Responsible for developing staffing plans that maximize efficiency while optimizing quality service.
Manages valet, ambassador, and concierge uniforms, ensuring proper inventory.
Skilled in budget creation and fiscal management, including tracking and reporting on labor and equipment costs and revenue streams.
Responsible for forecasting future states, anticipating outcomes, and organizing resources in a complex and dynamic environment that ensures the highest level of service to patients, visitors, employees, and physicians.
Seeks out opportunities to leverage new and existing vendors and technologies to provide enhanced services to stakeholders.
Knowledgeable of hardware/software solutions to assist in the management of parking, valet, and visitor management services.
Ability to assimilate data quickly and make reasonable inferences to improve performance and service.
Ability to excel in a cross-functional environment and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Skilled in public speaking and delivering presentations.
Experienced in managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring contracted services are well managed and audited in accordance with company and industry standards.
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, , Organizational Behavior/Management or another related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, Organizational Behavior/Management or another related field.
Required: Minimum eight years combined experience in any four of the following areas: (1) customer relationship management; (2) quality assurance; (3) strategic planning; (4) resource management; (5) personnel management; (6) scheduling (7) critical-incident management; (8) data analysis; (8) forecasting and budgeting; (9) project management
Preferred: Experience managing parking or valet programs or large special events
Required: Basic financial knowledge (forecasting and budgeting)
Required: Skilled with MS Office
License Required
CA Driver's License
