The Business, Facilities, & Operations Division is now accepting applications for the position of Manager - Payroll Services. The Manager - Payroll Services will, plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise the payroll operations and activities of the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE); oversee and audit the preparation, processing and maintenance of the SCCOE's payroll to assure employees are paid accurately, timely and in accordance with established requirements; assure proper completion of tax, retirement plans and other reports; supervise, train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate. Has a strong grasp of K-12 payroll procedures, rules and regulations and possesses outstanding communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Has a strong understanding of Cal. STRS and Cal. PERS retirement system regulations and reporting requirements.
