Job Description Summary
In the Payments Product Team we are looking for a Product Manager to work with our technology & product teams to deliver Open Banking solutions that simply work.
Our division executes on our strategy to build the future of financial services with a focus on convenience, automation and personalisation. The division has full end-to-end responsibility for building high-quality payment and data products for each of our customer segments within Open Banking. Your colleagues will be best-in-class developers and product managers.
The ideal candidate is passionate about both understanding the customer and the business, while working with technology teams to deliver outstanding solutions.
Role
Own European Open Banking payment product management activities to drive new development from conception to implementation
Close collaboration with other product teams, engineers, sales, commercial, legal and compliance to support in launching products
Understand and drive business requirements with ability to articulate and challenge to meet client needs
Own and manage product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by the respective target audiences
Assess commercial, technical and operational viability to determine optimal payment propositions mapped to client requirements.
Support the global Mastercard Studio process (internal product development gating) and put together documentation for gating reviews
All About You
Background and/or strong interest in Open Banking
Experience in product management and understanding of new product development concepts and practices
An inquisitive and innovative approach and ability to create new thinking
Analytical mindset and a track record in delivering comprehensive research & analysis
Ability to draw conclusion and develop actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative data
Capable of working under changing circumstances and confident in dealing with ambiguity
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work independently
A clear communicator that can simplify complex concepts and is confident interacting with clients and presenting to stakeholders
