Manage the program design process for existing and emerging areas of targeted focus for Jumpstart programs.
Manage the design and management of Jumpstart’s gender equity programs.
Manage the implementation and evolution of Jumpstart’s inclusive play programs.
Manage strategic partnerships and sector engagement in relation to gender equity, inclusive play, and program design.
Undergraduate degree in a related discipline
5+ years working in community sport and recreation programming, with a focus on children and youth.
5+ years experience in program design, execution, and evaluation, ideally within the community sport and recreation sector
Demonstrated professional knowledge of inclusion of equity deserving groups in community sport, with specific expertise in gender equity and accessibility.
Proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify and build value added analytics/reporting.
Excellent communication skills
High degree of customer service and focus
Bilingual (French) an asset
What you'll do
The Manager, Program Design & Partnerships will play a key part in Jumpstart’s commitment to strengthening community sport across Canada, and in ensuring all kids have an opportunity to realize the benefits of participating in sport and play. Specifically, the role will support the development and delivery of Jumpstart programs and partnerships designed to meet the emerging needs of equity-serving grassroots sport and recreation organizations, as well as shape the future of our inclusive play and gender-equity initiatives.
