- Work with the Tuition Revenue Management (TRM) department and Program Director on
capacity planning and inventory management - Communicates to ETP Providers and Operations Teams opportunities for program
development as designated by the Strategy Team - Ensures on-time submission of program information to meet Program and
Marketing Team promotional timelines - Prepares competitive analysis of program positioning, inclusions and cost targets
- Ensures program budgets do not exceed RS designated increase for year and
approves costs prior to submission - Proactively monitors program quality by reviewing program evaluations and/or
Participant Services feedback. Determines areas for improvement and creates plans
to increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to meet or exceed the Road Scholar NPS
yearly goal - Communicates to ETP Providers any program issues; discusses actions to improve
the missed service and devises contingency plans to meet participant expectations - Determines with Participant Services refunds for pre-departure program changes;
facilitates discussion with ETP Provider on reimbursement when necessary - Reviews and maintains the accuracy of information during the life-cycle of a
program within various data bases used at Road Scholar; cross-reviews with ETP
Provider the operational itinerary of programs; reviews and approves all program
changes with an eye toward meeting or exceeding participant expectations - Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Collaborates with Participant and Program Services for ETP Provider Training
- Supports ETP Providers with Group Leader and Staff Trainings in conjunction with Group Leader Services
- Moderate travel and some evening and weekend work required
- Additional duties or projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree, with 5 to 7 years’ related experience and product knowledge coupled with a love of traveling and educational programming
- Be pro-active and results driven with strong organizational skills
- Experience with project/account management necessary
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail essential
- Excellent verbal/written communications, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment
- Exceptional customer service skills required
- Solid negotiating skills helpful, but not required
- Willingness to travel up to 15% required

About the role...
The Manager, Program Management position is responsible for managing the relationship between Road Scholar and an assigned group of our Educational Travel Partner (ETP) Providers and Operations Teams for various International Programs. The Program Manager ensures that ETP Providers are in compliance with Road Scholar policies and guidelines and is accountable for the management of a portfolio of programs from this group of Providers. Will work toward achieving program growth and quality through the administration and oversight of inventory, capacity, budgets, program development (new & returning), as well as the review of program descriptions, materials and marketing pieces for accuracy.
Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $58.750 - $69,375.
