Direct supervision/management of the staff
Create project plans, including project schedules and budgets
Execute programs successfully by managing safety, quality, schedule and cost (P&L responsibility)
Integrate requirements vertically and horizontally across the project to ensure successful execution
Brief Northrop Grumman management and Air Force customers on project status
Identify and mitigate risks
Communicate staffing and lab needs to ensure projects are adequately resourced
Work with multiple engineering teams and cross-functional departments
Collaborate with Internal Work Orders (IWO) and Suppliers to perform project requirements
Lead proposal activities for new projects
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience supporting Aerospace, Department of Defense, Government contracts, or project management experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Demonstrated financial management skills including development and control of program budgets, schedules, EAC’s and the ability to recognize and capture program changes
Aircraft Modernization and Sustainment experience
Must be proficient in the concepts of continuous improvement
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance
Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain special access
Previous experience managing/developing small to large proposals across Development, Production, and Sustainment type programs along with building and delivering program briefings for executive leadership
Experience working on DoD related projects
Experience presenting project performance to upper management and customers
Risk Management experience
Background in engineering and/or engineered products
Program and/or Project management work experience with assembly, testing, tooling development and working with major subcontractors
Government proposal experience with aircraft structures and systems

You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Lifecycle Modernization and Sustainment Solutions (LSMS) team. LSMS provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-1 & B-2 Bomber, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete systems modernization and sustainment projects via engineering, and logistics solutions to meet warfighter requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs within the Oklahoma City Aircraft Engineering, Design, Integration and Sustainment (AEDIS) IPT. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business and expanding business with the current customers and establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
