      A Brief Overview
      The QA Manager helps to influence and support the planning, design, project execution and implementation of strategic and operational quality assurance activities by working directly with other Quality Assurance Managers.

      What you will do

      • With limited direction from the Senior QA Manager, provides support and mentors QA Analysts and QA Engineers providing direction and feedback on their day-to-day activities communicating clear job expectations, goals, and development opportunities.
      • Influence and support the development of the overall QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework. Supporting all Analysts with Manual testing and all Engineers with automated testing.
      • The individual in this role will lead a team of QA Analysts, Engineers and Automation Development professionals who own the development and execution of formal test plans using manual and automated testing processes to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
      • Ensures the team adheres to the overall automation strategy, development methodology, and QA best practices.
      • Conducts Performance Management and Talent development activities
      • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. In addition communicate quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
      • Perform Quality System training as needed to drive quality system compliance, responsibility include on time training performance, investigating root causes for lack of compliance and jointly working with team members to come up with solutions to be compliant
      • Identifies needs, allocates appropriate resources and continually monitors their progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and with the utmost quality
      • Drives the performance of lessons learned analysis to identify and recommend test scope and test approach improvements within their segment


      Education Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

      Experience Qualifications

      • 7-9 years of experience Required
      • 4-6 years of experience in agile methodologies and continuous integration Required
      • 4-6 years of experience supporting and influencing best practices for manual and automated testing Required
      • less than 1 year experience in leading a testing team and testing functions, managing large complex activities and processes.

      Skills and Abilities

      • Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) to both technical and nontechnical audiences
      • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications
