      This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

      We are seeking a Manager, OPO Clinical Quality and Compliance to:

      • Have primary accountability for the day-to-day leadership of the quality, regulatory, data, and administrative teams / functions of UW Organ and Tissue Donation (UW OTD).
      • Interpret and ensure regulatory compliance for the entire UW OTD department including compliance with regulations from CMS, the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, state and federal laws.
      • Lead and provide oversight of the Quality program including quality assurance and the development and adherence to the UW OTD Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan.
      • Utilize data to identify benchmarks, strategic initiatives, and performance excellence activities.
      • Support government relations activities including federal policy and legislation analysis, federal audit compliance, and participation in national outreach and educational opportunities.

      Education:

      Minimum – Bachelor's degree clinical field, healthcare administration, finance, business or other relevant field.

      Preferred – Master 's degree in a healthcare related field

      Work Experience:

      Minimum – Three (3) years of management experience leading teams or large, complex projects. Six (6) months of experience working in Organ Procurement Organization

      Preferred – Five (5) years of quality improvement, systems management and regulatory experience in an Organ Procurement Organization or in healthcare
