PepsiCo’s Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) team is tasked with the responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations, and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation. What PepsiCo Enterprise Data Operations does: Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company Responsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation, and access to the PepsiCo corporate data asset Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders Act as a capability / enabling function across the business for day-to-day needs and innovation Increase awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) of the EDO team, you will play a key role synchronizing activities inside the Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) organization and across other teams. You will be responsible for managing large scale projects, and work streams that span a globally distributed organization. To do this you will oversee the planning and release of Data and Analytics products through the entire data product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing resources, schedules, and adhere to stage gate quality. You will build relationships within the team and across EDO to make sure the right contacts are identified for the right team and are connected to the appropriate leaders within the EDO organization. You will also be responsible for record-keeping and tracking operating metrics and KPIs for the department. . Responsibilities Develop and manage all aspects of the project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues Strong interpersonal skills resulting in exceptional rapport with people. Proven success in initiating, promoting, and maintaining strong interpersonal relations Collaborate with EDO teams to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives Ensure that data projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, being communicating across leadership Directly manage technical professionals in the execution of projects Leads, trains, and coaches the project team on SAFe disciplines and methodologies Coaches the project team members in self-management and cross-functionality Removes barriers between stakeholders and project teams Ability to align multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Qualifications 14+ years project management or consulting experience Enthusiastic about solving complex business problems that influence reliability and performance Experience managing projects distributed across teams BA or BS required Skills, Abilities, Knowledge: Strong leadership skills to deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication, comfortable managing trade-offs Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work closely with people at different levels of the organization Strong analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, people management experience Proficiency with project management disciplines (Agile, Kanban, etc.) Process driven personality, with ability to pay close attention to details Technical background and understanding of technical product integrations Proactively drives impact and engagement while bringing others along Proficiency with project management software/tools (ADO) Strong negotiation and decision-making skill Certifications: PMP, SA5.0, CSM Overall ERP system experience a plus (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
