      Who we are looking for:

      Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for overseeing impactful projects and facilitating cross-departmental collaborations in the healthcare research sector? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

      We are currently seeking an experienced project manager with supervisory experience to provide oversight of select Center for Research and Analytics (CENTRA) programs and projects.

      Responsibilities

      • Serve as the project manager of select CENTRA program s and projects, including creating project plans , tracking and documenting progress of milestones, deliverables and dependencies .

      • Serve as CENTRA liaison on cross departmental collaborations with P&A, CEDI, Care Delivery, etc. especially as related to EDI efforts and activities.

      • Lead Research Administration team by managing 2 staff members as part of the Project Management and Research Infrastructure Hub.

      • Manage the operations of ASCO’s Research and Surveys Committee( RSC ) , including organizing, planning and facilitating monthly committee meetings, tracking committee decisions and action items, monitoring status of projects and requests and maintaining governance documents and workflows .

      • Oversee ASCO’s Research Survey Pool (RSP) , including maintenance of RSP policies and procedures, proposal submissions, facilitating reviews and resubmissions, survey development, implementation and fulfillment. building surveys in Smartsheet and Qualtrics , contracting, invoicing, correspondence, and sending results.

      • Manage ASCO’s survey program by facilitating support to survey projects across ASCO, maintaining and executing survey and survey software processes and s erve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resource for ASCO staff.

      Required Education and Experience

      • Bachelor's degree in health, medical, or science related field or equivalent years of experience

      • 6 year s of related work experience

      • 2 years of supervisory experience

      • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite of produces

      • Expertise in p roject management

      Preferred Education and Experience

      • Master’s degree or other advanced training in administrative, health sciences or related fields

      • Experience working in healthcare research, particularly cancer research

      • Experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment

      • Experience using Smartsheet , Qualtrics and/or REDCap

      • Experience in survey research and complex survey programming

      Competencies

      • Excellent communication skills, including written, with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

      • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines

      • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and work independently to complete a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment

      • Strong collaboration skills

      • Self-motivated , p roactive and results-driven

      • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills

      • Strong leadership and managerial/supervisory skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and develop staff

      ADA/Physical Requirements

      Extended periods seated or standing at a desk.

      High use of computer and other office technology equipment.

      Travel

      Up to 5 days/year
