  What does a Risk & Assurance Manager do at Rinnai?

  Responsible for all aspects of risk framework, maintenance of insurance relationships and administration of insurance related activities, and the management of our 401k program. This position works directly with a multitude of departments and people.

  • This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule.

  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management Framework (RMF): responsible for developing/maintaining Rinnai’s RMF, including establishing controls to manage both insurable and non-insurable risk, preparing reports and information for the ELT that highlight risks, review findings and actions taken.
  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): develop and maintain the ERM process for identifying and addressing potential events that represent risks to the achievement of strategic or operational objectives, or to gain competitive advantage.
  • Regular communication: between first and second lines of defense provides the foundations for understanding the risks facing the business, challenge the assessment, the actions taken to mitigate identified risks, and maintains an awareness of emerging risks.
  • Reporting: develop appropriate risk management reporting for ELT which can also be used for Quality and J-SOX requirements
  • Business Continuity: develop and maintain business continuity program
  • Insurance: maintain relationships and associate administration with third party providers. Provide support and maintain records relating to claims within the business.
  • 401k: manage and administer our 401k program (with outside third-party provider), help administer audit requirements and recommend changes where appropriate
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit the necessary assurance and communication of risks to safeguard the business, and work closely with Internal audit to help develop, maintain, and deliver a risk-based audit plan, and help partner to ensure compliance with J-SOX
  • Need to balance desire to collaborate and add value to business, with need to maintain independent assurance from the business
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment (eg. M&A activity)
  • Various ad hoc projects as required

  JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MBA desirable but not essential
  • Experience with Operational Risk management/audit experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in a foreign listed company multinational environment
