- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of all facets of NSW Ambulance operational and rostering processes from roster creation, maintenance and data transfer, processing of scheduled and unscheduled leave, through to finalisation of timesheets for payroll at both regional and metropolitan sites.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in transformational change and executing strategic initiatives across state-wide service delivery functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence key internal and external senior stakeholders to drive key outcomes and experience in leading and navigating teams in newly established business units with its associated challenges.
- Highly effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes with the ability to influence others to move towards a common vision or goal. Well-developed written communication skills and ability to provide clear and concise reporting to all levels of stakeholders.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills, including proven ability to analyse and understand complex operational information, with an excellent knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations, Awards and Agreements, business processes and concepts and make decisions based on sound judgments.
- Self-motivated and largely self-managed, with sound organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated people management skills, including providing staff support, staff development, performance management and the early identification of unacceptable workplace behaviours and taking appropriate action such as investigation, resolution and monitoring of harassment and bullying, grievance issues and conflict resolution.
- Well-developed computer literacy skills and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office software (databases, spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint and other applications).
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time,38 hours per week
Position Classification: Health Mgr Lvl 3
Remuneration: $122,850 per annum - $139,559 per annum + super and annual leave loading
Location: State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager Rostering and Deployment, Roster Hub provides leadership, advice and guidance to the Roster Coordinator teams to ensure that rostering processes and procedures are consistently applied to support a single, state-wide deployment model that has responsibilities across the roster to payroll journey.
As the subject matter expert, the position holder will ensure that rostering and deployment functions and systems meet operational requirements that comply with regulations, policy and procedure and, that reporting on these activities is accurate and relevant.
