What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for CVS software projects and products
- Ensure project execution adheres to schedule and scope while determining feasibility of design solutions
- Support applications, systems, and databases used for processing prescriptions and claims
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development and project deliverables
- Mentor junior team members in software development best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation
- Three (3) years of experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps
- Three (3) years of experience in Agile methodologies and SAFe Software Development Principles
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or SQL, and traditional relational data warehouse technologies like Oracle, Teradata, or DB2
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with JIRA, Rally, and Confluence
- Familiarity with cloud technologies: AWS and GCP
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and unit/automation testing
- Strong background in writing clean, high-quality, high-performing, scalable code
- Experience in testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
