      NCAA Digital brings to life one of the world’s biggest sporting events for millions of fans every year – March Madness. TNT Sports’ partnership with the NCAA encompasses products, content, and experiences across every possible platform – from iPhones to Facebook, and everything in between. Beyond March Madness, NCAA Digital covers 91 NCAA Championships for passionate college sports fans – including exciting events like the Frozen Four and College World Series.

      We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our engineering team to help us continue to deliver world-class experiences to our college sports fans.

      Your New Role...

      • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration, innovation, growth, and technical excellence while promoting continuous learning and career development.
      • Drive technical strategy and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance mobile and connected device applications for NCAA March Madness Live.
      • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align engineering, product, and business teams for data-driven decision-making and streamlined product development.
      • Lead efforts to improve engineering workflows, tooling, and processes for operational excellence.
      • Implement and advocate for agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) and support continuous delivery practices.
      • Drive initiatives around monitoring application health, infrastructure, and code performance to ensure system reliability and optimal user experiences.
      • Drive innovation by adopting modern technologies, optimizing architecture, and ensuring long-term maintainability through code reviews and refactoring.
      • Actively participate in event planning and execution, including rehearsals and live event support leading up to and during the NCAA basketball tournaments.

      Your Role Accountabilities...

      • Experience leading teams in fast-paced and complex environments
      • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience
      • 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
      • Experience in mobile and/or connected device experience such as iOS/TvOS (Swift/Objective C), Android (Kotlin/Java), Roku (BrightScript)
      • Experience with high-performance, high-availability, high-scale applications in production environments.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineers to meet ambitious technical goals.
      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams.
