      Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

      To be the face of adidas and its business within the sports industry in INDIA.

      The role aims at scouting, recruiting, and servicing the best players, teams and federations in the country.

      To build and maintain a portfolio of high potential athletes that meet KPI’s for the brand.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Have a keen eye on the sports scenario in India. Develop and maintain strong relationships with players, support staff, scouts, managers , sports teams, and other stakeholders to secure new athlete / federation endorsement deals and partnerships across sports.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, retail, and digital initiatives) to prepare the GTM plan for cricket.
      • Direct responsibility to maximize utilization of athletes and BCCI contractual obligations, proactively seeking to activate in collaboration with India and other Brand Activation teams.
      • Work closely with the BCCI on a day-to-day basis for all TEAM INDIA requirements (kit servicing, product feedback, campaign plans, shoots and any other requirements).
      • Facilitate all Brand Marketing requests (locally + globally)

      Professional background:

      • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in sports marketing, with a focus on the Indian market.
      • Strong understanding of the sports landscape in India and passion for sports.
      • Proven experience in negotiating and managing partnerships with athletes and sports teams.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
