      Req#: R3801

      Impact

As the Manager, Strategy and Planning located remotely, you will work across functions and with senior leaders to help identify and evaluate critical strategic problems/priorities and catalyze actions against them through strategy measurement and value management. This role will play a critical role in helping to build a healthy organization, set the right strategy and process, and drive critical cross-functional efforts in close step with senior leaders across the organization.

While no two days are the same, you will work alongside core business functions to bring Shipt’s enterprise strategies to life. You will manage the end-to-end evaluation of new business opportunities, ensuring strategic alignment and cross-functional coordination with limited oversight. You will lead analytical work streams – build business/value cases for identified opportunities, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and solve critical business issues with minimal oversight from project leaders. You will coordinate and facilitate both small and large working sessions with business stakeholders that drive to conclusions and agreement on topics pertaining to strategy development and market enablement. You will work with business leadership teams to execute detailed work plans, lightweight business cases, project estimates, and status reports. You will build “Executive ready” project deliverables and provide constant and clear communication of objectives, status, tactics, and results to all relevant stakeholders; identify metrics-driven insights, plus required actions. You will also provide tactical and strategic support on a range of executive-level operations and projects related to market intelligence and strategy development – e.g. competitive reviews, strategy updates, end-to-end strategy lifecycle and other ad hoc cross-functional and cross-discipline projects.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

      • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
      • You have 5 years of practical experience, including strategic operations consulting roles, retail, supply chain, or other applicable industry experience
      • You have experience developing plans to achieve company / business unit strategies
      • You have experience leading cross-functional groups to develop and implement new capabilities
      • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down problems into fundamental parts, identify root causes, synthesize findings, and make informed decisions
      • You have experience with different types of analysis (e.g., financial analysis and modeling, process analysis, statistical measurement analysis)
      • You have competence in project management; the ability to manage execution: coordinate, prioritize, establish goals, and ensure timelines are met
      • You have proven ability to influence and communicate complex ideas effectively, verbally and in writing (including comfort with Excel and PowerPoint)
      • You demonstrate high level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable
