General Administration of the Test Centre and CAL Test Services;
Manage the Physical Environment, Policies, and Procedures of the Test Centre;
Oversee the Service Schedules and Booking Systems of Test Centre and CAL Test Services;
Oversee Client Service Policies, Procedures, and Provision;
Analyze, Interpret, and Convey Results to Clients and Examinees;
Ongoing Test Centre Service Development:
Master's Degree in the field of psychology, education, or related field;
Certification, training, and/or course-work in testing and/or psychometrics
Certification, training, and/or course-work in statistical analysis
Minimum seven (7) years experience in roles that include:
Training and/or experience in test selection, administration, and interpretation.
Training and/or experience in Excel-based data management.
Training and/or experience in academic accommodation for people with disabilities, particularly as it relates to testing and evaluation
Training and/or experience in the administration of computerized testing.
Training and/or experience in human resource management.
Training and/or experience managing a budget that includes revenues and expenses.

The Manager of Testing Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of the exam invigilation, assessment, and marks analysis services offered through both the Student Central Test Centre and the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) Test Services. The manager is responsible for ensuring that these services operate in a manner that is consistent with the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing (1999) of the American Psychological Association, the standards of practice of the National College Testing Association (NCTA) or equivalent, and the Ontario Human Rights Code (1990). This includes ensuring that all resources necessary for the staff teams of the Test Centre and CAL Test Services are in place to carry out the scheduling, appointment booking, storage, test administration, and results dissemination tasks for each service. As such, the Manager of Testing Services serves as a consultant to the Algonquin College community on matters related to testing and assessment. The Manager of Testing Services is also responsible for completing and interpreting analysis of both the psychometric performance of instruments administered for use by Algonquin College and the business performance of the Test Centre.
