- Lead a team of highly analytical, quantitative experts in consulting, return on investment modeling, benchmarking, value engineering, and strategic sales for prospects.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top talent, preparing them to take direct accountability for the sales regions they support
- Position individual contributors for success, growth, and impact through coaching, shadowing, and finding opportunities for them to obtain new skills and experiences and achieve their career goals

- Operate as a strategic business partner
- Partner directly with the Regional Vice Presidents of Sales for West and Central Medium Enterprise, as well as with other field facing sales team leaders (solution consulting, services, go-to-market strategy, etc.) to own the joint strategy and success of the broader Workday Medium Enterprise teams
- Adapt the value management engagement model and drive innovation (e.g. new plays and tools, sub-industry perspectives, thought leadership, etc.) to meet current and future business challenges
- Provide data-driven and qualitative analysis on the business and VM impact to improve pipeline, sales execution, and customer value realization
- Advance the Value Management Practice
- Search for ways to scale innovations from your team to other businesses across Industries and to the broader Value Management practice
- Own key initiatives that span across your own team as well as cross-functional initiatives that support broader organizational objectives
- Help identify team and practice-level goals and drive alignment to ensure objectives are achieved
- Represent, preserve, and evolve the Workday and VM brand and culture internally and externally
- Represent Value Management in the Tech and Media Industry Pods as part of our cross-functional vertical strategy
- 2+ years experience in a Value Management organization (also called Value Consulting or Value Advisory) or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree required , MBA encouraged
- Experience with Human Capital and Financial Management Software
- Experience leading teams
- Strong communication, feedback and coaching skills
- Strong consulting skills including excellent discovery, analysis, quantitative modeling, listening, and influencing customers
- You identify business problems and opportunities, formulate a plan, the collaborators, and the resources needed to implement, and deliver against your own internal clock
- Passion for building diverse, equitable and inclusive teams
- Willingness to travel to customer sites

The Value Management team is tasked with serving as an internal coach to our sales executives and leaders and a trusted advisor to our customers and prospects, helping them develop their enterprise technology strategy and articulate and measure the value of Workday. We have the privilege of advising leaders ranging from the C-Suite of the world’s largest corporations to the all-knowing Analyst behind the scenes at small organizations. Workday is looking for an outstanding Manager for it's Value Management organization, as part of the Medium Enterprise team. As a critical player within the value management team, you will lead a team of value managers responsible for helping prospects and customers understand how Workday’s differentiated capabilities will enable incremental value for their organizations. You will enjoy direct prospect & customer interaction and play a pivotal role in driving revenue for Workday across our expanding product portfolio. This position will report directly to the Director of Medium Enterprise & Markets and will support our West & Central regions.
