      CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Manager/Director to join our talented National Accounting for Income Taxes team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

      In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

      How you’ll create opportunities in this Manager/Director – National Accounting for Income Taxes role:

      • Serve clients in a high impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization.
      • Demonstrate deep technical skills and general industry knowledge.
      • Excel at engagement management and operational excellence.
      • Drive the global tax provision process and coordinate with specialists.
      • Lead engagement teams and provide technical instruction.
      • Manage client relationships and engagement metrics.
      • Coordinate staffing with peers.
      • Assist with business development opportunities.
      • Travel expectation is 0% - 10%.

      What you will need:

      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
      • Experience: Six years of experience serving in a tax role required
      • Certification/ Licenses: CPA certification. JD or EA (Enrolled Agent) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification required
      • Deep knowledge of FASB Subtopic ASC 740 and/or International Accounting Standard 12 – Income Taxes preferred
      • ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) or other similar provision software preferred
      • Deep background in corporate US tax compliance and a high-level understanding of US international tax concepts preferred
      • Management experience indicating organizational skills to plan, budget, and manage highly skilled teams across the country preferred
      • Experience mentoring and developing associates / seniors from a technical and career perspective preferred

      The wage range for this position is: $141,000 – $247,000

      Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
