ERM’s Technical Due Diligence team have an exciting new opportunity for a Managing Consultant – Solar. For the right candidate we can consider hybrid arrangements from any of our 16 UK offices, however you will be best connected with your direct team if you are based in London, Bristol or Glasgow.
In this role you’ll deliver independent and owner’s engineer due diligence and technical advisory services, supporting projects through their feasibility, development, pre-construction, construction, and operational phases, with a focus on Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technologies.
You’ll review commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) solar projects as part of acquisitions, undertake construction monitoring and management for new projects, and support project design and optimization efforts. You will also support business development activities to develop existing client relationships and to secure new engagements, guide junior team members through project work, provide leadership by modelling high standards of performance and professionalism, and produce transaction-critical reports to drive the renewables transition.

About you
You’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM, Renewables, Finance or Business subject, solid working experience in similar roles on solar PV projects, including but not limited to ground mount, rooftop, floating and agrivoltaics.
You’ll have exposure to solar modelling software, possess excellent communication skills, have commercial acumen, as well as a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
