We are looking for an exceptionally talented Managing Director or EVP, Client Services to join the leadership team of one of our premiere full service, global healthcare marketing agencies. You connect teams and people to create space for excellence, regardless of department, geography or reporting structure. You understand how to make decisions to benefit the agency and bring your teams along with you toward the vision to empower all of us to do our best work in the most innovative ways. You set the tone in championing brave ideas with conviction and purpose, partnering with department leads and executive leadership to make it happen. You rally the agency to turn breakdowns into breakthroughs, always seeking a better way to do and be through creativity, savvy, and hustle. This is a very visible role both externally with clients and internally with agency leaders. Strong executive presence, proven leadership and an innovative mindset are all critical to success.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Participate in high-level strategic meetings (positioning, market research, concept/branding, strategic/marketing plan development, product life cycle, product development planning)
      • Develop solid relationships with existing senior clients and past contacts (where possible)
      • Manage senior level account staff
      • Receive and analyze monthly profit/agency staffing reports
      • Responsible for organic growth
      • Lead and provide strategic counsel for new business effort
      • Prospect promising new brands and potential clients
      • Address major financial/staffing/operational issues
      • Foster a positive team atmosphere demonstrating respect for all regardless of title or level
      • Demonstrate ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects and to delegate work appropriately
      • Provide ongoing guidance to all team members and be available to them as a resource for account/agency/departmental policies, procedures, etc.

      Qualifications:

      • College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or science/medicine
      • 10+ years Agency or comparable experience
      • 7 years of supervisory experience
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
      • Well-developed knowledge of business practices/vendor relations
      • Ability to manage and train staff
      • Successful history of growing brands and launching brands
      • Understanding of therapeutic categories/disease states

      The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

      • $275,000 - $309,500
