What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the private market portfolio of the endowment funds, including performance monitoring and asset allocation adjustments
- Conduct research and due diligence on potential private investment opportunities
- Proactively identify and source new investment opportunities
- Monitor the performance of portfolio investments and prepare investment reports
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external investment partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum ten years of experience in private market, investment banking, or a similar field
- In-depth knowledge of the private equity industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform detailed financial analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in Finance, MBA, or a related field
- CFA/FRM/CAIA designation strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external investment partners
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
