Job Description
- Req#: R73177
- Delivering editorial administration services to editors, authors and reviewers to ensure journal needs and service level agreements are met.
- Managing the editorial, submission and review process efficiently to reduce the lead-time from submission to approval.
- Generating journal and ad-hoc reports for editors and publishers for board meetings and strategic planning.
- Identifying and implementing changes to workflow and configuration to optimize the performance of journals, release initiatives and publishing policies.
- Providing support and troubleshooting advice to editors, reviewers, authors and teams for our submission system.
- Communicating with our journal community, publishers and cross-functional teams to provide updates and advice for submission and publication queries.
- Have excellent administration skills and a real eye for detail and accuracy.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese & English and an ability to engage and build relationships.
- Be able to take ownership of problems and implement solutions.
- Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives that make a difference.
- Show good data analysis skills and the ability to create and generate reports.
- Have great computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
- Have excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
