Job Description
- Req#: Req33233
- Managing, motivating and coaching an editorial team of three writers, including story assignment, editing and publishing
- Supervising the content creation process from writing through editing and publishing for two daily newsletters and websites
- Tracking trends that can be turned into engaging and informative news stories and features.
- Conceive, develop, research and write smart, in-depth enterprise stories along with general reporting on the radio and audio industries.
- Organizing and assembling news stories for publication in morning and afternoon e-newsletters
- Representing Inside Radio at industry conferences and events
- Develop and expands Inside Radio’s relationships with radio industry leaders and organizations
- 5+ years writing and editing experience at B2B or consumer publications
- A passion for broadcast radio
- Experience managing people and processes.
- The ability to pivot, multitask and meet deadlines in an ever-changing workflow.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills
- BA or BS degree.
