      What We Need:

      Inside Radio, the authoritative daily publication serving the radio and streaming audio industries, seeks a hands-on Managing Editor to oversee all editorial content for its continuously updated website and daily newsletters. The ideal candidate is an experienced editor/writer with a passion for and deep knowledge of broadcast radio.

      What You'll Do:

      Responsibilities

      • Managing, motivating and coaching an editorial team of three writers, including story assignment, editing and publishing
      • Supervising the content creation process from writing through editing and publishing for two daily newsletters and websites
      • Tracking trends that can be turned into engaging and informative news stories and features.
      • Conceive, develop, research and write smart, in-depth enterprise stories along with general reporting on the radio and audio industries.
      • Organizing and assembling news stories for publication in morning and afternoon e-newsletters
      • Representing Inside Radio at industry conferences and events
      • Develop and expands Inside Radio’s relationships with radio industry leaders and organizations

      What You'll Need:

      • 5+ years writing and editing experience at B2B or consumer publications
      • A passion for broadcast radio
      • Experience managing people and processes.
      • The ability to pivot, multitask and meet deadlines in an ever-changing workflow.
      • A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
      • Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills
      • BA or BS degree.

      Compensation:

      Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.

      $67,200 - $84,000
