Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
Job Duration: 7 Months on W2
Job Location: Walkersville, MD
Shift: Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the finishing area including screening product components and kit assembly
Preparation of packing materials and supplies for finishing activities
Assisting in reviewing paperwork and logbooks for the department
Quality Responsibility:
Maintenance of quality systems and cGMP compliance for the business by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.
Safety Responsibility:
Is knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations. Ensure that all team members comply with safety rules and regulations.
Job Scope:
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contact from others is primarily internal. Work in a fast-paced, safety-oriented team environment.
Working Conditions:
A majority of the work is done in a laboratory environment. Scrubs, hairnet and plant dedicated shoes are required to work in unclassified areas.
Working conditions can include standing for long periods of time, excessive noise, heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), repetitive motion and confined spaces. Some weekend work and overtime work is mandatory based on business necessity.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum; AS/BS preferred
Preferred area of study: Science related discipline
0-3 years’ experience; some prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Proven logic and decision-making abilities, critical thinking skills
Visual Acuity Test (eye exam) Required - pre-startAbout the company
