  Job Responsibilities

  This position is part of the Manufacturing Engineering group. In this position, you as a manufacturing engineer play a vital role in supporting the production factory. You will have the opportunity to work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing. Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  Other Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in assembly perspective to support Production
  • Drive assembly process improvement to ensure on time delivery, product quality, cost
  • Perform Root Cause Investigation, Corrective Action during manufacturing issues escalation
  • Develop,implement,maintain operation assembly instruction.
  • Work with Pilot Engineering on new product transition into Lam Mfg Malaysia
  • New product Manufacturing cost estimation, BOM validation, Manufacturing Takt time & line cycles analysis & Assembly fixture preparation
  • Work with Lam Product Group on DFMA for new product introduction
  • PFMEA creation, maintenances, driving resolution for high RPN failures modes.
  • Responsible for Problem Report creation, follow through issue resolution and improvement actions

  Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in the electro/mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to solve manufacturing issues with minimal guidance.
  • Effective in verbal and written communication
  • SAP BOM structure and Routing understanding
  • Strong statistical and data analysis skills, including DMAIC tool
  • Experience using 3D modelling software such as Creo or NX
  • Experience in new product introduction and transition, understanding of new product development cycle.
