      Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

      We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to process improvement and innovation within our state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in manufacturing processes and industrial automation, providing advanced support for equipment and automated machinery.

      Responsibilities

      • Design and improve manufacturing processes using CAD software, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Provide advanced level support for equipment and automated machinery.
      • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for router creation and production planning.
      • Apply problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills to resolve manufacturing challenges.
      • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance current processes.
      • Work with metal fabrication, including stainless steel, sheet metal, and weldments, in a large assembly environment.
      • Perform calculations for manufacturing processes such as cycle times, takt times, and standard work.

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
      • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role.
      • Proven experience in metal fabrication with weldments and large assemblies.
      • Hands-on experience with equipment such as brakes, lasers, punches, cobots, robots, welders, sorters, and material handlers.
      • Proficiency with CAD software (Inventor and AutoCAD preferred).
      • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
      • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and industrial automation.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with trailer/vehicle systems and pressure vessels.
      • Familiarity with standards, large assembly, fixture design, workflow, process flow, robotic welding, and robotics.
      • Understanding of calculations used in manufacturing processes including cycle times, takt times, standard work, and VSM.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
